The Chairman of Commission VI of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia requested the F1H20 racing event at Lake Toba to involve local MSMEs
TRIBUNNEWS.COM, JAKARTA - Deputy Chairman of Commission VI of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia Martin Manurung reviewed the preparations for the F1 Powerboat World Championship (F1H2O) racing event at Lake Toba, North Sumatra, Monday (30/1/2023). To InJourney, which is the organizing committee, Martin asked that this big event involve local MSMEs, and really become a people's party.
Accompanied by the President Director of InJouurney, Dony Oskaria, Martin checked the progress of the construction of a number of venues where F1H2O will take place on February 24-26, 2023.
"From the construction of the facility which is still ongoing, I am very optimistic that it will be good. But there is the most important thing of all, namely the involvement of the local community later," said Martin on Tuesday (31/1/2023). He reminded that the big event can improve the community's economy directly. "For example, for artists or artists. Through this big event, the government must give as much space as possible," he explained.
In the MSME sector, said Martin, the committee must also provide a special place for MSME actors so that this activity really becomes a worldwide people's party. "There are many local products that I know in the Lake Toba area, especially in the Toba Regency area which is the center point of the implementation. It should be given a special place," Martin said.
"If it is necessary to provide assistance so that when it is displayed later, the results meet the standards set by the committee," continued the NasDem Party DPP Chairman.
