Compare Lake Toba with UAE, Menpora: Toba is More Delicious
Jakarta - In a matter of days Indonesia will host the F1H2O fast boat racing event on Lake Toba. Minister of Youth and Sports (Menpora) Zainudin Amali was proud and praised the beauty of Lake Toba.The F1H2O fast boat racing event will be held on February 24-26, 2023 at Lake Toba. A number of preparations are also being intensified to welcome world racers and tourists.
Zainudin Amali revealed that Indonesia should be proud to be selected in this international event. He was candid if Lake Toba as the host is very beautiful compared to the lakes in the UAE.
"I yesterday received a hand over flag from the UAE on the last day of racing there. And I will tell you frankly that once I review Lake Toba, it is much tastier. There it is if not wrong the lake is artificial which did not exist before," he said.
"And it's certainly very much different. There (UAE) is hot and here is cool," said Zainudin Amali in the agenda of signing the Lake Toba Powerboat F1 Partnership Cooperation Agreement in Jakarta, Thursday (2/2/2023).Riders want to stay longerHe continued, Minister of Tourism Zainudin Amali said that he had also chatted with the riders. They expressed a desire to stay longer in Lake Toba.
"I had a chat with some riders and they said 'Sir, can we stay 1 week after racing?' I replied "Let alone one week, one month is okay," Well now it's just our readiness for accommodation and so on," he said.
Zainudin said that the F1H2O event could be a step to increase tourism and the Indonesian economy, especially in the Lake Toba area.
"So this is something to be proud of as well as for the growth of tourism and our economy," he concluded.
On the occasion, the Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment, Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan, was also present. He also praised the beauty of the racing venue on Lake Toba."As Mr. Menpora said earlier, it is indeed a patent. I saw from the helicopter that it was really pretty. So we have to really hype up this event and make it a great show," Luhut said.
